I'm proposing adding 2 warships to be anchored near the entrance of the harbor....I've(proposed) taking away 4 towers along the mts and bluffs ...I posted in the mess boards how many men I feel could arm them .. ..the men using short horn bows for there good distance and up close accuracy as well as ...possibly 2 catapults per tower..A crew of 20 men per ship(2 ships) and 5 per tower...this way the passangs that stretch the inlet are covered in the deeper waters(warships) as well as the shallows (towers).. the placement of the towers and ships allowing thorough .. warning down through the harbor to the village ...by fire arrow or sound of horn....sent in increments to the docks and village ... our warriors being well notified by the time a raid has begun...at that point our ships could easily meet them well before they're in striking distance of our docks and village...(SURUIS)
